Mirka 3" DEROS 350XCV 5mm Random Orbit Electric Sander, Without Case, (MID3502011US) is a unique 3" (77mm) direct electric random orbital sander especially developed to tackle small sanding operations; small repairs, headlight restoration, bumper sanding, hard-to-reach areas and kitchen refurbishing. It is also suited for corrections on solid surface applications and interior furniture details.
This model has a 3" (77mm) pad and 5mm (3/16") oscillation for higher stock removal. Mirka DEROS is developed for effective and dust-free sanding.
The smallest and most ergonomic direct electric sander on the market has a brushless motor that maintains a constant speed even under heavy load. Vibration values are the lowest in its class and the symmetrical design ensures a comfortable grip, which means you can sand for long periods without fatigue. Will there be hands on demonstration?
Absolutely. We will have a boat in the shop to work on. We typically focus on the hull sides. All the Starke products, pads and machines will be on display and available for use.
Will there be classroom work?
Yes. We like to sit down and go over some over the basics. We will have a presentation and slideshow. We start by introducing everyone. We like to ask why each person came and what they wanted to gain from this experience. Once we figure that out we can then dial in the message to focus on where everyone needs the most information.
